We are readying the Family Folk Explosion Time Capsule For    The Future Myth!  We will be burying the Capsule up in the Mother Lode (that’s Gold Country to you flat-landers). We are holding a rock & roll ceremony in Twain Harte, CA during our Earth Day Get-Away weekend in which we will place the symbols, stories, songs, eagle feathers, medicine bundles, rhinestone belt buckles, the psychedelic seeds of our Future Myth, into a tightly sealed capsule and place in the ground, brothers and sisters!  We will be heading to Half Moon Bay to the legendary Old Princeton Landing (where Neil Young & Crazy Horse did that amazing secret residency as the Ducks, some 20 years back or so).  That show is on March 9th with some incredible special guests that we are going to announce real soon and we are recording the entire night for inclusion in the Time Capsule! So come on out, camp out by the beach with us and shout your voice into the Future!

Our homeboys up in gold country, Mother Lode Hydroponics, are throwing another party! This  will be a Family Folk Explosion with Os Beaches performing the Coyote & The Crosser psychedelic opera for one of the sets and MM, Wild Hawk, and Annie Girl trading songs for another set.  Camping and cabins will be available, as will love, lights, and most anything else you might need for a good time.  Follow us on twitter (@osbeaches) for ride share and shuttle bus info leading up to the 4/20-4/21 weekend!

 MM RE-UNITES OS BEACHES, SET’S LAUNCH DATE, READIES HEADS!

Hints of a possible Return of Os Beaches were evident throughout the Family Folk Explosion’s Amnesia Residency this January, with the Flying J’s reuniting behind MM and in inspired form, and with the long awaited release of Coyote & The Crosser (Matos’ future myth/concept album featuring Steve Mackay of Iggy & The Stooges) scheduled for a March 22nd release, the writing was on the wall… the graffiti on la paredes. Os Beaches rides again, with two new additions to the band: Matthew Wild Hawk and Jesse Lemme Adams. The boys have 3 Bay Area shows this month, kicking off next Thursday, Feb. 9th, at Vitus (Oakland, CA) and closing out the month with a very rare appearance at The Starry Plough in Berkeley on Saturday the 25th (this show will be MM’s first at the Plough in 7 years.)
